We are delighted to now be using locally grown certified organic Ginger Root, grown in a hoop house in Freedom, Maine, for all of our fresh Ginger products. This extra delicious tasting glycerite is traditionally known to improve digestion, warm the body and ease nausea, motion sickness and mild menstrual cramps. *

Avena’s organic Biodynamic® gardens produce 70% of the herbs used in our products. We apply organic compost and Biodynamic® preparations to nourish the soil and hand harvest our herbs following seasonal cycles. Some herbs are respectfully wildcrafted or organically grown by others who share our philosophy of care and respect for our Mother Earth. Each herb is mixed with kosher vegetable glycerin to ensure the full range of plant constituents is extracted.
