Horehound Liquid Extract

The soft, silvery leaves of Horehound are a pleasure to harvest despite it's bristly flowering tops. We hand harvest this herb and immediately tincture it in organic alcohol. Traditionally, this bitter tasting herb is used to stimulate bile secretion, reduce liver congestion and improve nutrient absorption. It's expectorant properties ease irritated coughs, especially when the mucus is dry and sticky.*
