We hand harvest several baskets of fresh lemon balm leaves, and Calendula blossoms, from Avena's Garden for use in our lip salve. These herbs are infused over two weeks in organic olive oil to create a highly therapeutic lip salve. This sweet, lemony fragrant salve is soothing and healing to dry and irritated lips and traditionally is known to prevent and heal herpes and shingles.* Unlike most lip balms, this product contains no petroleum based ingredients and is made completely with organic and biodynamic herbs. 1/2 oz tin
