Saw Palmetto Berries Liquid Extract

We tincture these highly fragrant berries, sent to us from the South, in organic alcohol as soon as they arrive. Traditionally used as a nourishing reproductive and urinary tract tonic for women and men. It is used in combination with other herbs to improve urinary flow rate, relieve urinary tract infections and scalding urine and reduce prostatic swelling.*

Avena’s organic Biodynamic® gardens produce 70% of the herbs used in our products. We apply organic compost and Biodynamic® preparations to nourish the soil and hand harvest our herbs following seasonal cycles. Some herbs are respectfully wildcrafted or organically grown by others who share our philosophy of care and respect for our Mother Earth. Each herb is mixed with spring water and organic pure grain alcohol to ensure the full range of plant constituents is extracted.
