Avena's salves and lip balms are handmade from our own organic infused botanical oils. After the 2-week infusion process, beeswax is added to thicken the oil, making a lovely smelling salve with a smooth consistency. The infusion process is what makes our salves and lip balms unique and effective. We never use synthetic ingredients or preservatives in any of our products. The shelf life for our salves is approximately 2 years.
