About Cherry Echinacea Glycerite: Avena's biodynamic garden contains hundreds of the beautiful magenta cone flowers of echinacea, which delight bees, birds and butterflies alike. Every fall we hand dig three year old echinacea roots and immediately grind and infuse them into glycerin. Native to the prairies of North America, this valuable plant has been used for hundreds of years to support a healthy immune response and soothe the respiratory system. Avena's echinacea products leave a tingling sensation on your tongue - a sign of a well made echinacea remedy. Kids (and adults) love this sweet cherry flavor. This non-alcohol echinacea root glycerite is cherry flavored, creating a yummy treat for children.
