At Avena Botanicals, we make herbal products such as cremes, salves, oils, tinctures, elixirs, and glycerites using fresh, organic & Biodynamic^® herbs. These vital plants and a sacred connection to place promote the wellness of the body, mind, and spirit and encourage humans to be mindful and loving stewards of the Earth.

We bring over a thousand pounds of fresh, hand-gathered herbs into our apothecary annually and use these herbs to thoughtfully prepare our herbal products. Over 75% of these herbs come directly from Avena's Demeter-certified Biodynamic gardens.

Our herbs are hand-harvested in the spirit of joy and immediately processed in our on-site production facility in Rockport, Maine. All of our herbal products are hand-crafted and will always be made in this artisanal way.
