The Herbal Hummingbird Hub is a nonprofit educational center situated on the same property as Avena Botanicals. Formerly the Herbal Classroom, it focuses on interdependence, inspired by Ruby-throated Hummingbirds who fly thousands of miles from the Gulf of Mexico to mate and pollinate here each summer.
Help us launch the Hummingbird Corridor Project to safeguard these tiny travelers along their entire migration route. Pollinator gardens — beginning at the Hub and extending throughout the corridor — will provide the nectar that sustains them, nurturing the medicine, food, and seed they help create.
